How To Dispose

While our compostable pet waste bags are BPI-certified compostable, it does not mean that your municipality waste collection service will accept pet waste as part of their home compost waste collection or commercial composting facilities. Please check with your local municipality before composting.

If your municipality doesn't collect dog waste, some other eco-friendly options are flushing the pet waste down the toilet  (never in any bag—it will clog!) or using a designated pet waste disposal service in your area. You can even create your own at-home designated dog waste composter!

Whether you dispose of your compost at home, through a local composting service, or even by flushing it down the toilet, rest assured that the bag will fully break down in a matter of months at a landfill leaving zero waste behind.
